Well what a couple of days, started off ok, had a lovely call from Dan and all going well for him, but then things deteriorated as the day progressed. Deidre was coming for dinner and I was a bit late putting on the roast meat, and then when she arrived she was stressed out to the eyeballs a continuation of her fall out with Siobhan, dinner was less than successful as herself and TJ were upset and him crying like a baby,(why he got into such a tiss I'll never know) Then we had the texting between them etc etc. I was glad when it was all over and then of course then I can't sleep normally when something like this is going on, but thank God I did last night I think I was mentally tired from aa\ll the drama.
I went to see Siobhan today and of course I heard her side of the story and as usual somewhere in there, there is a semblence of truth from both sides, but she didn't want to see me as she believed I'd not accept her side of the story, but eventually I calmed her down and told her of my love for her and that I wouldn't take sides.
It's a very long saga altogether!!
When I came we spent a couple of hours in the garden admiring the Rosellas in our Grevillia trees, then I mowed and spent some time admiring my vegies and my flowers which are all coming on splendidly.
Haven't heard from Deidre yet regards her getting the house and I'm not looking forward to hearing about more brawling
will keep you posted, she did get the house horay! So please god things will settle down now.
BRIGHTON
living in Brighton was great as we had a lovely house with 4 bedrooms and a huge block we were near the family and had good friends there.
JFK had various jobs in that period, he worked in a factory which made luggage, he was a carpet layer for Myers, a gardener at a couple of State High schools and he even had a great job at ICI which was an office job in charge of sales to Floor layers and Shops, he left there to become a self employed layer, there was plenty of work around and of course John always was a victim and eventually it dried up as well, eventually my father gave him part of his milk run which didn't last very long as he had to get up and work in the early hours of the night, However saying all that we had a good life there not much money but still a good life.We had four babies while living there,Daniel born '68 Anne '69 Declan'70 and Siobhan '72. To say I was busy would be a bit of an understatement! but when people asked how I coped I just laugh and say I don't know (what a stupid question) Margaret and Martin started their schooling at St Kierans but we left Brighton when he was in grade 2 to move to Rockhampton for work and greener pastures of course.
Tell it like you see it Mum <3
