Another week gone and we have now passed the half way mark, and still loving what we are doing.
We are having a mid semester break and hopefully we will be going to the mainland with Fr Salvic, its just a matter of getting our visa's in time.
Friday we went to the chinese immigration dept for visa's and my goodness what a drama they make of things, thank God we are not wanting to go for ever I'm sure a person would be dead before one got approval, but hopefull they will be ready in time.
After our visit to the immigration place, we went for coffee, and now I can say I'm a McDonalds confert, we had coffee and cheese cake at a fraction of the price at the upmarket places, and it was delicious to boot.
Saturday we went to the Museum to see the ' Fantastic Mythical Creatures' which is on loan from the British Museum, it was actually quite interesting and we really enjoyed our visit. (As its well documented how much I don't like Museums) so there Margaret Mary a little bit of culture hmm! Then we had lunch there a caeser salad with smoked salmon from Norway (according to the menu anyway) with a glass of sweet white wine. Yummy Yummy
Then we had dinner at the Presbytery with the priests and Fr Slavic was delighted that there are over 220,00 Poles now living in Ireland, so we had to have a couple of Irish whiskey's and a sing song and his favourite Irish song (Cockels and Mussels) we then sang The Wild Rover and then he sang it in Polish, we had a great laugh over that.
I don't think I have any pictures as I seem to have done something to my camera.
Happy week
